The day after a week of skiing with Max found me too tired to do much but a self portrait. I tried several other indoor shots, but I need a good self portrait for Margie's birthday, so this is a warm up.

East Castle Summit

Max and I took the 1 hour hike from the top of Supreme to the the top of East Devil's Castle. It was the last inbounds place at Alta we've never been. Mas asked me why I'd never gone before. I saved my answer for the top. I never before found anyone else who was willing to do it. The run down was worth it, almost virgin powder, steep and long.

I had to pick this picture because it was such a great experience, but it had a little serious competition for my best shot of the day.

Looking for Fresh in Devil's Canyon

I spent an hour being frustrated in Devi's Canyon. Wherever the best skiers were, that's where I wasn't. Wherever the dramatic light was, I missed it. I should have gotten out sooner. Anyway, I got this which with a lot of work in post, is OK.
