•
Y vs X

Margie is away for a few weeks and I needed to blow off a little steam. For her, this means a trip to Filene's Basement. For me, it was a new cell phone. And here is the world's lowest energy test of its camera.

Thought I wouldn't get one today, but if you count 3am restlessness as part of the previous and not the next day, this counts.

This is the playground of his elementary school, about 5 minutes walk from our house. Friday he goes away to boarding school. He's going to find out that you can't step in the same river twice.

 •
Reception

This is my cousin at the memorial reception for her mother (my great aunt.) Aunt Tillie was 98 and died a peaceful and dignified death in her own apartment where she lived for more than 20 years. Not all deaths are tragic.

Shooting at memorial receptions is a guilty pleasure of mine. See the proof sheet from this one.
