Flowers 2006

Thought I was done with flower pictures, but I've been beta reading a draft of the next edition of Professional Photoschop by Dan Margulis. • Here's one I really think I should be able to improve. But if I make that yellow any brighter or any more yellow, it loses detail fast. I think this one might need either or both of some sort of blending and false profile.

  • What a difference a day made! I'm beta-reading a new edition of Dan Margulis' Professional Photoshop. And it just so happens there is a great clue for flowers and in fact all raw conversions. I don't want to steal Dan's thunder, though. I asked if I can share. If he says it's alright, then I will. Else you'll have to wait for publication this fall or winter.

  • Is this better? A final trip to CMYK to reduce the magenta in those very yellow parts of the flower.
